Loaded W7 Pro on my "old" DELL Latitude D610 with ATI Radeon X300 GA and 1400 x 1050 screen resolution.
Everything worked fine, until I loaded Office 2010. Then, I got a BSOD when passing a PowerPoint Diaporama.
Read on Google that this ca stem from graphics, and found R153383.exe so-called adapted to Vista and W7. Indeed, no more BSOD, but the processor is 100% occupied such is, after some time the RAM (2 Go!). ANd the computer heats a lot and slows excessively.
I then uninstalled R153383.exe, but the above symptoms (100% UC and RAM) persisted.
So, I had to reinstall XP Pro (and all the sofwares).
Conclusion : D610 is definitively uncompatible with W7. Too bad for my W7 HomeGroup (snif!), wich I fund very convenient.

I finally found a solution with W7 Pro
R153383 saturates the processor
R104771 works fine.No BSOD with Ppt, no saturation of the processor.
At last !
