I dont remember downloading it and i have no idea where it came from,but after a few unsuccessful tries it sent me to a site asking not to uninstall and when i asked to run the uninstaller for it it froze my computer and i had to restore.
i am wondering what this program is and im unsure

By Alejandro Baez 2014-08-28 06:15:40 I was having an issue with my web browser, in particular internet explorer, where the lan setting was using the proxy option. I tried and tried to uncheck this and it always came back. this started happening when jsip.exe appeared. this kept redirecting me and timing sites out with a message to check my proxy settings with an ip address of something like 127.0.0.1 etc. I tried to uninstall jsip.exe, I tried to stop the service and was not allowed. the only way to remove this is to start up in safe mode and delete the folder that the jsip.exe file is located in, restart, and the settings will be back to normal. I consider jsip.exe to be a browser hijacker.

By Robinson Herrera 2015-11-10 18:06:28 Norton warned me that there was (were) some program(s) kinvolved in suspiciojus activity: trying to send info. out of my computer. I ran Norton's scan and jsip.exe was kndkicated as tyhe culprit. I eliminated jsip.exe bygoing through my control panel. I don't know how I acquired jsip.exe to begin with.
